This course is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.

• Main Menu: The Main Menu, in the upper right corner of the screen, provides direct links to the sections in this course.
• Exit Course: The Exit button, located in the upper right corner of the screen, closes the course window.
• Back Button: Select the Back button on the right side of the screen to return to the previously viewed screen.
• Next Button: Select the Next button on the right side of the screen to navigate forward to the next screen.
• Resources: The Resources button is located at the lower left corner of the screen. Selecting this button will open an additional screen that lists course resources.
• Learning Logs: Throughout the course, you will find learning logs for various lessons. You can access all the learning logs from the Learning Logs button located at the lower left corner of the screen. The learning logs are designed to accompany the online course and are not a substitute for completing each lesson. These documents can be used in two ways: you may save the documents locally and fill in the sections electronically, or you may print the documents and fill in the sections by hand. If you choose to save the documents, you will need to open your local copy each time you want to fill in or read a new section.
• Progress Bar: The progress bar in the lower right corner graphically demonstrates your progress through the course.
• Pagination: The pagination area in the lower right corner displays the page you are currently on and the total number of pages within that lesson.

• Documents: Linked documents containing additional information.
• Websites: Links to websites outside the course.
• Images: Some images act as links and can be selected to bring up additional screens and information. There are times when an image must be selected before navigation becomes active and you are permitted to continue.
• Videos: Depending on the speed of your internet connection, videos may take several moments to load.
