Stay Quit Coach 2.0 is a free, easy-to-use mobile app designed to help anyone who would like to quit or reduce use of cigarettes, electronic nicotine delivery systems, cigars and chewing tobacco. The app is intended to offer readily available support and information for adults who are in the process of quitting or who have already quit. Stay Quit Coach 2.0 helps users identify their personal reasons for quitting, set goals, and track their progress over time. It provides information about tobacco use and nicotine withdrawal. Interactive tools help users cope with urges and motivational messages help users stay tobacco-free.

Stay Quit Coach 2.0 is designed to be used while working with a clinical provider. It may be helpful as a self-help tool but does not replace clinical care.

Use Stay Quit Coach 2.0 to:

  • Set goals for cutting back or quitting tobacco
  • Log use of multiple tobacco products in real-time
  • Track your progress over time
  • Develop personalized coping plans to manage urges

Users are free to share data; as the self-monitoring data belong to each user, HIPAA concerns do not apply while the data are stored or shared. If the user were to transmit or share data with a health care provider, the provider must then comply with the HIPAA rules.
