Biography

Vicky Bippart is a documentary filmmaker whose career writing, directing and producing programs has spanned over 30 years. She currently works for the National Center for PTSD as the producer/director of AboutFace, a website that features personal narratives to educate and promote treatment seeking behavior among Veterans.

She has also made programs for MTV, ITV, SHOWTIME, CBS, BBC, Discovery, MIT Media Lab and WGBH Boston. Vicky has won numerous awards for her work, including an American Cable Excellence Award and 2 George Foster Peabody Awards.

AboutFace has been recognized with a VA Excellence Award (2013); VA Communications Award for Innovation (2013); American Psychological Association Division 56's Award for Media Contribution to the Field of Trauma Psychology (2013); Interactive Media Award (2012) Best in Category: Military; and the Health Information Resource Center's Digital Health Award (2012).
