The relationship between suicide and PTSD is explained using theory-driven frameworks, with attention to the transition from suicidal thoughts to behavior.
The author presents methods for tailoring suicide risk assessment, noting challenges and risk stratification methods. The course includes clinical strategies, including acute suicide risk intervention, safety plan development, and addressing suicide risk within the context of evidence-based PTSD treatment.
